Welcome Dakine!

And to think how lucky you are going to be, driving that car on the Autobahn!

Still don't know the difference between the E90,92 and 93's but from what I gather it's a E92 (I think). Mine is a 335xi coupe. I decided to go with the xi because of all the snow and rain here. I still have some time to change the options, and I'm still deciding on what I want to get on it.... that's how I found this forum. The dealership I got my car from here only gets the trim in chrome. I was hoping to get the black I see on some of the people's pictures on this forum. I just saw a car in black with the chrome trim and i think it may stand out too much for my tastes... I was thinking of goinig with the montego or monaco blue, or doing the vinyl tape mod I also saw on here.

My old tacoma seemed to have a little better acceleration then the 335 that I test drove (especially from a slight roll), but the 335 definately feels better while driving, especially over 140K. The autobahn is going to be fun, but I think it will be more fun on the back roads... too much construction and traffic cameras. The BMW navi doesnt have traffic cameras like the tomtom, so I decided not to go with that option... i didn't want to look ridiculous with a build-in navi and a tomtom right over it, besides, I'm still unsure if I'm going to spend the time to customize the dash, in which case I'd also prefer the flat dash. I'll definately post pics when it arrives. ....

nice car choice, anyways, i definetly recommend spending a few good sitting at the DIY forum. You can learn alot from these posters and youd be amazed how many things people have already done and written it out for others to do. You could of course always go to a shop or whatever and pay top dollars for the mods, do what you like. Enjoy the forum ! peace

Toyota must jam a lot more HP in trucks destined for Germany.

naw, I had my tacoma when living in the states, but did some mods with the supercharger, suspension, computer, fuel...etc... it was uber fun as a daily driver (under-rated and all the honda kids kept wanting to race..haha), but I sold it before moving to germany. Thanks for all the hospitality you guys/girls... I'll definately post some pics when the car gets built.

Check out some of the modified S-runners or X-runners with turbo or SC mods online. Quite impressive for trucks... I thought about getting an X-runner instead of the 335, but wanted the awd for the snow and ice, and didn't want a 4x4 truck at the moment. I had better gas mileage in my supercharged taco then my brother had with his impreza.

I still don't know how to quote in these forums yet
