Headlights not level - dealers states it is normal
I have a 335i with Xenon headlights. I noticed that when I'm driving, my right headlight shines roughly 10 feet further than my left. So it appears that the left is aimed lower than the right. I took it in to the dealership today and they told me that the left is always lower on vehicles in the U.S. so that we don't blind oncoming traffic. Can anyone confirm this? I want to trust the dealership but all of the other posts I have read never mentioned anything about this.
Thanks in advance |

^ yes I read about that on the forum. The driver side is pointed lower on US cars so we don't blind the traffic going opposite way.

Ya, it's a little lower, but not crazy. Pull like 10 ft away from a wall or garage door. It should be a little lower beam pattern on the left, not drastic though.

Yes, a very noticeable difference so you dont blind oncoming traffic.
