What do you consider "murdered" or blacked out

When is a car condsidered murdered or blacked out?

I have a BSM e92 and people have referred to my car as blacked out... Ive only done window trim, grills, 335 badge and reflectors. I really don't like "murdered" cars and I'm afraid I unknowingly fitted myself into this category.. what are your ideas of when a car has been of murdered or blacked out?

Edit: is there a difference between blacked and murdered out?

lol i actually have no tint in that pic i just got my rear windshield and passengers done at 5% just a week ago but nothing in the front i'll get ticketed esp cuz i got a N

Murdered out (to me) = black car, black wheels, dark tint, blacked out headlights and tail lights, dark badge or debadged.
I personally think the murdered out look is beyond stupid, at least the blacked out head/tail lights.....that's more for a wannabe poser with a 2002 ford mustang.

Factory M5 wheels but they are actually.. powdercoated. Sorry to dissapoint the plastidip fanboys!!

Blacked out is awesome, I don't know what you guys are talking about, black car, black grills, black rims, tinted headlights and tail lights. I think that's pretty sick. If you like your car that's all that matters. Stop caring about what other people think of your car. Is your car!

Whats the story with the black window trim? I have a montego blue e92 and just picked up some black wheels. I was thinking getting the black grilles but i think it would need blacked out window trim to look right (gotta get rid of all the chrome if i'm gonna start with the grilles).

Did you buy that stuff or just paint yours?

hmm. Kind of subjective. I considered murdered as.. black car, black wheels, black headlights, black taillights and black emblems, black moldings etc.. Blacked out to me just mean black wheels and black car and black interior. But obviously everyone's opinion will be slightly different.

Why'd you spend all that money to get them professionally powder coated? I can't tell the difference...could be platidipped far as I am concerned.

to me, a "murdered out" car (stupid ass term btw) is:

black car
matching black grille/trim
limo tint all around (except windshield lol)
black wheels (not oem wheels. maybe M wheels tho)
black/debadged emblems
no amber/orange reflectors
black housing headlights (different from ghetto black headlight covers)
smoked taillights (not all black)
black exhaust tips

and all the blacks should be matching... whether everything is matte or everything is gloss black. none of that whack mixmatching both.
