Yeah, I recently had the walnut shell blasting and discovered the OCC as a way to hopefully reduce the periodicity of the blasting.

Note: I did have an odd vibration at about 1300 RPM due to the bracket for the OCC touching the plastic of the cowling. I moved the OCC below the strut brace and secured it with large tie wraps so there is no contact with the cowl. So far, so good. Little annoying that I couldn't mount it exactly as designed but it is still fully functional.

Update: So after a month and about 1500 miles...OCC was bone dry. Not even a little of anything. Should I be happy or worried?

Hard to say...give it another few months I'd say. I would definitely expect more stuff in that can after about 6 months. Do you run a tune or go WOT often, or are you more of a laid back driver?

More laid back most of the time. No tune...Yet. I will admit I do the occasional shift to sport mode and WOT on a couple of the on ramps around here tho'...

Tune that puppy past stock boost and WOT it more often and you'll see that can fill up LOL

The fact that it's bone dry just means that you're driving your car normally, and quite frankly, that's nothing to be ashamed of.
