To get your 135i/335i flywheels resurfaced for $75 + shipping call South Bend Clutch at (574) 256-5064 and ask for Greg or John. Tell them Chris from HPF sent you. Ask them for an RMA for your OEM flywheel so they will know what it is when they get it.

Chris -

Do you beef-up the torque straps on the pressure plates?

If so, how?

Thanks.

We use the SRE Pressure Plate which has stronger straps than the stock pressure plate.

Chris.
You mean you are using Sachs Race Engineering pressure plates with custom feramic discs ? Is this on all the HPF stages or only Stage 1 ?

"Stage 1 - Power Handling Capability: 600 rwhp, 550 ft-lbs"
"Stage 2 - Power Handling Capability: 700 rwhp, 625 ft-lbs"
you said in the thread that stage 1 can handle 750rwhp/600ft-lbs was that a mistake or is the information on your website faulty or what?
I was going to order the stage 2 because I'm eventually looking to make about 700hp to the wheels with an upgraded turbo set up in the future but if you say stage 1 is good to 700rwhp then i dont need stage 2 right?
which information should i follow?

Thanks for the feedback. Stage 2 can hold 750rwhp/600 ft lbs. I updated our site to reflect that. If you're going to be making 700rwhp at some point get the stage 2, not the stage 1.

I've been looking at different kinds of clutches, and I want something that can handle higher torques in the future (in the 400 wheel torque range right now), and feel as close to stock as possible, even though I know a stronger clutch is going to have to feel different to some extent. I just want to minimize that extent. It seems to me that this HPF clutch is the way to go.

The HPF clutch feels very close to stock and it holds all the power...

And installation can be done with the addition of a few tools.

The website shows that the feramic clutch will not work on the 335xi. Is that true?
