BMS Intake Installed
I have been lurking around for a while. I wanted to give the guys setting up the pre-order a little preview.
The install took all of 3 minutes, and is practically idiot proof. My car has JB4, Meth, ER Charge Pipe, and BMS DP. I have to say though, this has been one of the most fun mods I have done to the car. The whooshing noise it makes when under light throttle is addictive. I spent the day riding around with my windows down just to hear it. You can hear the turbo spool up so much better. The car feels more responsive than it had before. The power in high RPM 3rd and 4th gear pulls seems to last a little longer and has a more consistent pull feel than when I had a KnN drop in. Here are some pictures |

I am loving this new intake. BMS says it helps with power at higher boost levels, so... I wanted to see if I could feel it. I went out and got some ms100 and turned up my meth additive to 55. I have run +55 before, but it feels a little more "linearly violent" now.
FBO 70/30 meth MS100 w/ some 93 left in the tank After about 600 miles of driving since the install i would highly recommend it! |

Nothing at all that I have noticed. The underside of my hood is a bit cruddy from this past winter, and there are no visible marks where it would have rubbed. The fitment is right on.
The only thing is some cool acoustics coming from under the hood, that didn't happen before. |

Cant wait to have mine, I am on the list for the next shipment. BMS is awsome for the N55 community, they are backing us when we need them. Glad to see fitment is perfect, it is alway the weak spot with aftermarket intake. |
