I need to write a monologue for my drama class based on an experience that I've had in my past. I was thinking a speech about hookers and blow, or strippers, would really hit the spot. It just can't get outrageously graphic, if you know what I mean.

I figured since this forum is full of very self-expressive and eloquent members that maybe someone could come up with half a page, single spaced, about a minute long presentation.

I'll delete this thread tonight if there's no interest.

A monologue, for those of you who don't know, "is a long speech by one actor in a play or movie, or as part of a theatrical or broadcast program."

If not, here's my real, professional advice (it's worth what you pay for it):

m_sung can probably give you some awesome material involving a lambo, free 18-year olds (no hookers for him) and blow, a rabbit on a chest, all while benching 315 pounds.

I suggest reach out to him directly.

Bahaha sounds brilliant. The only thing is it has to be somewhat feasible, so maybe with a few adjustments it may be possible.

It's not just talking, its acting. I have to pretend like I'm in a movie scene, and make a speech. Like dialogue with someone, except there's no one there. Monologues are used for tryouts for film stars and who gets what role.

Call it the "It Ain't Easy Bein' Cheesy Vagina Monologue" and create a narrative exposing the trials and frustrations of trust fund tards. How they're hated by all except those that want their money, how they can't even get in trouble on their own because their parents keep paying off the cops and politicians. How everyone knows them as "hey, you're Anass Rhammar's son, right?"

They're useless. And it's all someone else's fault. Being set up for failure like that...it's so sad.

I'm almost crying as I type this.

You missed the great struggle of mind about whether to become a doctor or a businessman, and then him deciding to F*** it as he does not care to put in the effort as he is inheriting millions of dollars from his parents, ultimately ending up with the decision of living off the interest.

Come on, this is the Hamlet "To be or not to be" moment. How could you ever miss this?

i just read an article delineating wealth distribution in america, the top 1% own 80%, sucks mang. op must have been a saint in a past life to get by this easily.

I have nothing against getting by easily or family fortunes and generational wealth transfers or any of that. That's the only way to build true family wealth, it's over generations.

I do, however, think it's generally despicable to be a walking useless waste of life, especially given that kind of opportunity.

This guy is like a real life Billy Madison, except there's no chance here of ever running daddy's company.

Monologue

Look, you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. Dreams aren’t going to come true without your blood and sweat put into the equation, and it won’t happen overnight either. These fancy dinners, hotels, cars, and life fantasies don’t grow on trees. This is who we are, and we do what we want when we want. You want in? Show me what you’ve got.

I need someone who can drive under pressure to make a few runs into town, no stops in between for anything else. Period. You’ll find a burner phone and a duffel bag at the Equinox gym in locker 6.
