engine malfunction after it rains
i have noticed that when every it rains and i start my car i get a engine malfunction light. and when i hold the brake, rpms go up and down. The car starts perfect. and once it warms up a little and i turn it off and back on then it goes away.. When its warm outside it starts up and gives me no issue.. anyone had this problem? heres a video
note: car has no mods.. completely stock. i did recently change the serpentine belt and tensioner pulley. |

Shadow codes wont pull thru OBDII, you need to have JB4 or scanner to read DME codes ... Engine RPM issue could be VANOS (15 min DIY) - I also had vaccum leak which would become more pronounced with rain for reasons I dont know

better figure this out quick if you have a water leak and its getting into the ecu its only a matter of time before it does some serious damage ,

I have this exact same issue and am POSITIVE it's electrically related. Please provide as much detail as possible as the car is currently at the shop making their heads spin...on my dime!
