Hey guys, how is the weather there in December? I'll be getting in around the beginning of December, and hopefully the car will be there within the month. Last time I was there it was June through August so I didn't get to see the winter... Wish this move would just hurry up!!

Pretty much from Oct-Apr is nice here. But it can be unpredictable. It can get cold here and even icy. But even if that happens..it only lasts a couple days. And we might get hard ass downpours of rain for days on end....but it might not rain AT ALL for months. So it's a difficult question to answer. Either way, you can sell your winters there for sure...you will NOT need them here. Nobody has winter tires in this place..complete waste of money.
It's the opposite here than over there. You will avoid driving your car during the summer because of the heat...MUCH more fun to drive in the winter/cooler temps...

I'd possibly do a trade+cash for mine. Pm me your email and I'll get pics.
BTW I just moved out here to SA from CT. Any weekly meets or anything going on? I'd like to meet some people out here, bullshit about cars, hang out...etc |

Yeah, they're concave a little. Check my garage pics...or my profile
What exactly are you guys looking to do? Are you wanting to trade what I see in your sigs +/- cash? I love my wheels but I wouldn't mind trying something different. I'm about to see if you guys want to just come to my house for a meet, lol...I can never do anything during the week/late night cause I'm a single parent right now...

There were a lot of really fast cars out...
Notables: C5 vette black ran a 10.5 Cobalt SS ran 12.7 (you always hear about how fast they are but it was the first time I saw one at the track, I'm guessing he'd been a lot fast if it wasn't still 80 degrees out...) And Zr1 was out but I can't remember the time... I was slower than usual... Ran 12.99 and 13.1... 2.1 was best 60 foot... Another interesting thing is they ran the Pro Tree, which I'd never done before, so definitely an adjustment for reaction times... Pro Tree goes Staged-->Yellow straight down--->Green.

Me and couple friends are going to the track tomorrow (Weds). Probably arrive at 8. Buddy has a C6 Z06.
Regarding meets, cars n coffee is the best, but only once a month. Lot 13 is a good regular spot. |
