Aggressive tires.
Today i pulled the trigger on some toyo r888's. I have stock suspension. with 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear currently running 255/35 front and 285/30 rear. This car has so much grip now its incredible. i will get some pictures tomorrow but as of now no rub or scraping. and this is without rolled or pulled fenders...

Definitely agree. Sometimes people get a thrill out of being low or trying to see how closely they can come to almost shredding tires on the fenders. It can look good, but not a huge deal.

Will, props for choosing function over form, and thanks for informing the community that those aggressive tire sizes will fit well. |

Fronts are 35 rear are 33 i believe.. And higher in the front and you will rub strut and any lower and you will destroy fender. In the back i think you may be able to fit wider thats my next project trying to fit a 295 or 305 in the back with the room left to the strut and like maybe 5 mm it can move out

Nice! 245 and 285 must be giving you a lot of grip!
And I'm with you in terms of function over form. I will say that I'm lowered right now but only to remove the wheel gap. Im not to the point of insane camber and stretch and poke, I'm actually going to raise my car up a tiny bit when I put the new PSS tires on next spring. I don't understand how some ppl will get a 335 and make it FBO and make a lot Of power and then lower it so much it rubs and scrapes everywhere, what's the point of that? Not like you can go fast now :S |

He has a ton of grip because of the R-triple-8's. Beast tires.

what are the specs on your wheels? Not really looking to lower my ride but looking for known good wide tire fitments in the front. Really looking to go to a square setup, was thinking 245s were the max but if you fit 255s...?
