Got mine from tirerack. Paid like $195 for all four. Good enough for me!

You can go to TireRack or another forum vendor that sells Beru TPMS. Dill is a well known American company with good quality so I would assume their TPMS is fine.

You don't have TPMS inside your wheel. No need to get extra set of sensors.

Our canadian BMW uses ABS sensors only.

I think the tires I have that came with the car has TPMS. Not sure really. I have 08 328i E90. would I not need them for this car? I have seen the alert come up to check my tire pressure before so i assumed I had them =S

the people I'm buying my tires from they said they sell the TPMS for 60/Each.

Really? So my 2009 328ix doesn't have TPMS? SWEET (I despise TPMS)!

it's actually the FTM that is feeding the system the alert..

TPMS reports the actual tire pressure (an actual device inside the wheel).
FTM monitors the tire rotational speed against the other 3 in order to determine if you have flat tires or not.

One way to know for sure if you have TPMS is that if you have metal stems, you have TPMS, if you have rubber stems, you have FTM.

Not entirely sure about the metal vs. rubber stems. My stock tires had metal stems but no TPMS sensor. Just put on a set of winter tires on steel rims and had no light come up. But then again, mine is an 09 128i...

+1.

It is important to verify which type is on the car as even some 3 series cars in Canada have the metal stems with TPMS sensors.
