It was on my old 335. It sounded good, but there was some drone around 2k. My current car only has downpipes and a factory exhaust.

I current have a 2001 330i that im looking (very soon) to upgrade to a 335i 6sp coupe! Ive spelt a lot of time and have learned a lot on e46 fanatics and i look to learn more here and hopefully meet the e9x guys in KC!

i'm looking at some cars and im wondering if this is a good deal or not: a 2009 335i black on "saddle" brown interior with sport/premium/idrive. Its a 6spd coupe with 42k miles on it. Its also CPO'd till 4/2015 and the dealer is asking $26.5k for it. this sound like a good deal?

Also, a page or so back someone mentioned a "mod friendly" service manager at baron..could you please give me his name because my 330i was heavily modded and the service manager i had didnt like that...always tried to charge me and say it was my fault things would break (yeah like its my mods that caused my oil filter housing to leak )

And ive seen a couple e92's at the lifetime fitness off of 87th and renner! They were black or gray, cant remember exactly and were 6spds as well. One of them had a blacked out trim and grey wheels, the other looked stock but the 335i badge was colored black. Is that anyone on here? Thanks guys!

well, baron bmw might not be the best place you want your car serviced if you are out of warranty or have mods (such as tune, etc..)

If you go to autotech, which is right down the street, they are very good, and affordable. They are also mod friendly as i always took my e46 330i with headers (ie no cats) and they never had a problem with that.

Also, heads up, i have made a group on facebook (if you use it) for all kc e9x owners. figured that we could share photos, ask/answer questions about modding or anything really, and organize meets!

they do work on many of the local track cars - and can do alignments, etc. Great shop!

Hello all!

I figured I would finally sign up and post for the first time. I picked up a 2007 e90 335i in STL on Monday while on my way back from NC. Just rolled over 56k miles, has the sport and premium packages. Its been a blast so far and the mod potential has me all giddy inside. I currently live in Manhattan but will be moving to Topeka soonish for my new job. I look forward to catching up on this thread and wont mind making the short trip to KC to meet some of you all.


PS. Anyone going to the ICE CREAM CRUISE in NE on 8/3?

Kendall at Autotech does great work and has many years experience working on bmw's.


Offtopic, if any of you are looking for 93 octane in the KC area (other than BP), Zips @ 4821 W 135th St (Linden St) in Leawood sells Conoco 93 Octane gas. It's only on a select few of their pumps, or was when I filled up. They just started carrying it last week.

Checking in here for the first time. FINALLY, after nearly a year of searching, I found the exact color combo/package 335i I have been looking for. Sent a deposit last week and picking it up next Sunday. (On a business trip so cannot pick it till then) I'm on KCSR under the same name and also have the blue 800+whp MR2.

It's an '07 Montego blue/saddle tan 335i coupe, 6mt, 55k miles, sport, premium, cold weather, logic 7, nav, etc. JB4 G5, burger intake, aFe catback, upgraded CDV. Original owner in excellent condition.

I've already ordered BMS DP's, H&R sport lowering springs, and will be fabricating my own IC setup and shopping for meth kits now. Will be soon ordering m-sport front and rear bumpers and a CSL wing and probably different wheels as I'm not too fond of the ones on the car but we'll see. After that I'm probably leaving it alone.
