I tried for diminished value when my car was backed into, it was a super minor repair so the insurance company wouldn't budge. I think different states have different laws in regards to it. Factors such as previous accidents and how severe the accident is would be the determining factor. In your case, the accident looks pretty bad so I would definitely fight for diminished value, because the cars value after an accident like that will certainly be less.

True, they do vary state to state. I will try and figure out more research and see where I stand.

That might well be a total loss on a 2007. I would push to get it totaled and move on.

This .. both quarter panels, door, glass, 2 rims, mirror, front bumper, whatever is leaking (I'm assuming it's the windshield washer reservoir, but could be more). You said you hit a median, so I'm assuming there's damage on the driver side too. They should write it off.

Having said that, glad you're alright.

My 08 was just totaled with only 36k km on it with right fender, front bumper, hood damage, intercooler, radiator and airbags. Make sure you talk to your adjuster's manager to bargain with, they don't seem to care about warranty though.

You've got a door, right QP, right fender, mirror, bumper, tire, possibly sideskirt replaced and wheels just on the right side of the car. If any airbags went off I'd be betting on your car being totaled 99%.

Hope you're ok!

It doesn't look like a total loss.
Assuming just subframe adjustments and body parts, it would be around $5000~7000 to get it fixed.

LOL.... no man, just no, look at how its sitting on the wheels, wheels and tires alone will estimate to about 2grand, body work another 8grand easy, suspension is probably all fucked as well, so another 4-6grand there, drivetrain is damaged as well (leaking fluid), trust me i just got in an accident with my 335i and it wasn't anywhere even close to that bad and ended up over 11grand to fix the thing. This is definitely without a doubt a totaled car.
