My guess would be anodized aluminum. The people to ask would be those who installed a swift spring conversion, as I think they need to be machined down to fit the new spring.
I REALLY doubt that anything on a kw setup is plastic, as they are truly weatherproof and are a great suspension system.

my v2's on the jetta were made out of plastic, up front. The threads were seized up and I busted a couple pieces of plastic off when I was raising the car back up. I was very disappointed with KW at that point.
