lol my car is pretty simple JB2R, exhaust, air filter, and the boys all checked under the hood after our runs.

I guess one main difference is the auto. I know Driver72 & Jon raced (both on procede 1.47, ~93 octane), only real difference being auto. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Driver72 pulled 1.5-2 cars on him? So perhaps the auto is the difference maker.

I think we'll get a better feeling after the Florida guys run Friday. We can compare trap speeds, etc.

Yup exactly. Thanks for the clarifications

Shiv ship me my v2 and the v2.02 software (as of 6 weeks ago I was #126 in line, I think you have shipped about or more than 100 in the last 6 weeks right? I should be soon right? Please!)

HotRod 182 and me could do the most closely matched comparo between v2.02 and JB2R

We both have auto 335i's (he has a sedan, I have a coupe)
We both have 19" CSL reps.
We both have General tires in the same size.
We weigh roughly the same weight (he's about 5-8 lbs heavier).

Therefore, if I had 3-4 gallons more gas in my car, we'd essentailly have a perfectly even weight.

I promise I'll video it.

I also agree with Terry on the point, JonMartin (with the JB2R in) should run ABTek818 (Adam).

They both have manual coupes.
Both have catback exhausts on.
Both have 19" wheels.
Both are lowered.
Both weigh about the same.

Then with HotRod and my results and Adam's and Jon's we'd have equally compared auto vs auto and manual vs manual with the JB2R and v2.02

Ah that's right.. well we'll have to get him to match up with Jon to get a real apples to apples comparo. I think they both have just the tunes, exhaust, and rims. Both 6spd, etc.

I think you are right.

But aren't you releasing v2.02 really soon?
If so, and if I get mine REALLY soon, we can all do the comparos.

Ya those would be good apples to apple comparo. I should be hitting up the track soon with Drew and all the guys. I dont think ill get any abnormaly fast results compared to other 2.0.2 guys.

Jon -- you praise and recommend the JB2R, but you had the PROcede v1.47 and were waiting for v2. Does this mean you're sticking w/ the JB2 (obviously you wouldn't run the (R) race gas switch w/ race gas all the time on a daily basis, so you'd have to revert back to the lower power JB2 on pump gas) or are you still waiting for PROcede v2 (to reinstall PROcede when you get v2)????
Ya well I don't plan on selling the Procede I'm just waiting on V2 the thing is I've knocked the JB2 without trying it first, so now I have and I have to swallow my words it's pretty good for the $$.

That is correct.
I don't know if I was a full 2 CL's in front of him (it's hard to tell how far in front you are, when you are the front car).
But again he had a decent amount more weight in his car than me 175 lbs, but has a catback exhaust that I don't have.

Ha, you guys are funny. I know it's fun racing head to head, but why not take
1 car and switch between V2 and JB2R? (or as someone else mentioned-swap the product on 2 cars and compare that way). Do some 1/4 mile runs at a track during similar weather/track conditions.

Terry, arguing with you is as exasperating as it has always been.

The conclusive relevant data, peak torque and peak HP, is there. The HP and torque data clearly shows that the DP did not help and if anything, hurts a car with PROcede, based on shiv's maps. I believe so and the one performing the test believes so.

Yet you still try to ignore the conclusive peak HP and the peak torque and try to infer an opposite conclusion based on other, non-conclusive data.

Your argument is like saying: John made more money last year than Mike as evidenced by their tax returns, but because Mike has a better education, any reasonable person could see that Mike makes more money. Ignoring the result to argue based on contributing factors.

But I can see why you're pissed. I'll give you this win. Have a nice one!

I will link up with you guys sometime when I get V2 in. I am completely stock except for the Procede. I think that will really show what the "tune only" does vs others with mods. Might be a good baseline comparison and what the extra mods actually do for a car.

Don't know if you boys remember, but I was part of the LA dyno day with shiv and I was the one where he put a few gallons of race gas into my tank as my car was running lower HP than everyone else.

My question is does procede need 98 octane to stand up to the JB2R ?
I always thought that one of the selling points of the Procede V2 was that it didn't need the race gas to have more power than JB2R (that needs race gas)
v2.0.2, running pump gas, should make 350-360whp. I think Terry is only claiming around 340whp on a race gas mix with his JB2R.

If you ran that same v2.0.2 on a race gas mix (as Walked U and Johnmartin) have done, it will still pick up another 10-15whp. This would give the v2.0.2 an even greater advantage. We're taking 20-35whp. Maybe more. Hence the video results.

Now if you run a race gas version of v2.0.2, things will start to get really silly. Hence my 116.8 trap speed.

Shiv
