Hi all,

I've been lurking for a while (that sounds dodgy!) thought I'd sign up as now got a 330d M-Sport Touring on order

Spec as follows;

Bluewater
Black Leather, heated seats
Nav - Professional
Sun protection glass
Loudspeaker system - business
Auto
Extended storage

I think that's about it. I wanted Oyster leather as like the combo with black carpets but my MD (it's a company motor) said it made it look like 'a pimps car' and proceeded to call me Leroy for the rest of the day, along with comments that I'm gay for wanting white leather!

Anyway, needless to say I'm now having black leather!

Gotta wait until mid June for it to arrive as factory order - didn't think it would take quite that long but should be worth the wait. I've not driven one, test drove a 320D 3 years ago but bought a Freelander 2 instead. However, loved the Beemer back then and knew it was a good choice now, used to have a 330d E46

Can't wait to get behind the wheel

Catch you around
Andy

Cool Hi

I have been a lurker for some time now and have been using all the great info to help me choose my ride. Last week I picked her up and I haven't stopped grinning since Previous BMW cars included E34 520i, E46 325, E39 528, E85 Z4 3.0 SMG.

I had to get rid of the Z4 when our twins arrived. For some crazy reason I decided to get a Saab Estate. I have suffered it for two years and was desperate to get back in a beemer. The new F10 520d was very tempting but I had throughly enjoyed putting the top down in the Z4 so wanted something sensible(ish) but still fun. The first time I saw the E93 at the local dealer I loved it - both top up and down. I have just been biding my time to find the right one. As with most used motors, we have to compromise with the options so it wasn't 100% perfect but pretty close.

Many thanks to all the useful postings on here. It is a great database of information and I spent what felt like 100's of hours making sure I was not getting stitched up by the dealer. I even got the salesman to put an assurance in an email that if the 225 wheels crack (and so longs as I hadn't obviously abused the wheels), they will be considered to be a manufacturing issues and replaced under warranty. I also got it in writing that the car are 'fit for purpose' on our crap pothole ridden roads.

I spent a bit of time today cleaning her and taking a couple of snaps. They are attached to this post.

So I am de-lurked now and will continue to enjoy reading all of your posts.

Real Newbie here

Hi guys

Thanks for the warm wellcome viv. just a little intro. I have been a member of E60 forum for last couple of years as I had 5 series in the past which I have just replaced with a 3 series last week. Although BMW is a great car in any series but to me 5 series E60 sports package was the best looking car. but after 2 E60 I wanted the LCI E90 as a change and after a test drivev I was convinced that this car isnt in anyway less pleasure to drive than 5series. As an E60 forum member I gained a lot of knowledge and I hope to have the same support and guidance in E90 forum.

Kind Regards

Azar

Hello!
Picked up my 320d coupe M sport last week-really pleased!

Been reading through the forum all weekend and need to investigate this wheel cracking issue, ie what models/batches etc were affected. (I have a 57 plate). 1st purchase will be some locking nuts though!

Just come from a Honda S2000 so somewhat of a change but had enough of the harsh ride, impracticality, poor fuel etc, was a great car but my needs have changed and the BMW ticked all the boxes. Very pleased so far!

Thought I would say hi now as I have had my 56 plate E92 335d for a couple of weeks...

First two days driving was so much fun and then my iDrive packed in and kept restarting every 10 minutes. Then it died completely!

Just heard from the dealer that it requires a new computer so looking forwards to picking it up again later this week!

New 335i m sport on order

Hi everyone I'm excited about my E90 335i M sport that is on order and will arrive in May. Bought on 31 March and got a good Quarter end deal!

Leather, auto, satnav, upgraded audio, memory and heated seats, visibility pack. Le Mans blue. Looks lovely in the brochure!!

Have owned 4 330s in the past, but all convertibles or Touring so this is a first in saloon and first M sport, and first auto (and first in run flats - will be interesting to see how that goes!).

Have driven a beautiful S4 convertible for last 4 years (only 18500 on the clock! £19K if you're interested.....!!)

Loved it and found it fantastically practical this winter, but time to return to the fold and buy a 3 series.

Looking forward to some happy miles.......

Hey, I think this is the first time I have used "Elms" as a company, but I have used the garage when it was Sewells.

No major issues with them from memory, most of my visits has been under warranty so can't really complain.

How do you find them?
