NMA Poll Results: Ontario WORST in North America for speed traps
Came across this recent poll conducted by the National Motorists Association (NMA). They collected data from users over the course of the last 5 years. Ontario had the most input for speed traps out of any other State/Province in North America, most notably from Windsor, Hamilton and Mississauga. I'm not surprised but I wasn't expecting Ontario to be the WORST.
Needless to say, I won't be falling prey to any of these "traps" http://www.driving.ca/Ontario+worst+...047/story.html Official news release with methodology and full details attached below. |

Well, the term "speed trap" is loosely thrown around. Typically, it's referring to areas where you're more likely to get tagged for speeding (ie, bottom of a hill, sudden change in the posted limit, empty industrial road etc). Of course, traffic enforcement will never admit to using "traps" (much like quotas), but I see it first hand in my local area.
