Has anyone else managed to upgrade to iOS 7 yet?

I took the plunge last night and so far it seems pretty great.

It's only on beta release to developers, but not an issue for me

Ran it yesterday but i'm restoring to ios6 now.

Like you i was curious to see how it felt in action. I planned on running it for a week or so just to see but with Skype not working and the odd quirk i decided to roll back.

It's certainly a radical rehaul. I think it's going in the right direction but the colours and icon design need refining as does the fluidity of the menu systems.

Some stock apps dont use consistent back, edit and menu locations and there isn't enough contrast between system menu's and 3rd party content. It's like it's all morphed into one.

I also find the psychedelic esk colours a little OTT.

I was pragmatic about the install, it's the very first beta, it was laggy, safari crashed, dictionary crashed, camera app crashed and some elements of the UI are mis-aligned.

But i do hope they work on the polish to make the UI a little more consistent and tune up the contrast and tone down the bright colours. The bugs and optimisation will be nailed by the fall.

Looks like a cross between Android/Windows/Adobe/Yahoo Weather app.

Don't really care too much as long as it works

But the main icons do look way to oversimplified to the point where it looks ugly (IMO), but the rest is fine by me. Looks like disgusting old 95' icons that are not complete.

Well I personally think the icons are childish BUT the overall UI experience is improved quite alot.

I'm running it on my iPhone 5. Pretty smooth for beta 1, much better than iOS 6 beta 1 last year. The UI will definitely take some getting use to.

Jailbroken iphones always done this..just a theme change basically. I expected more

Is it? I'll be honest, that was my first thought. And I'm having trouble finding evidence to the contrary. Or rather evidence that convinces me. iOS7 response seems a little muted but that could just be me looking in from Android now

I think I'll wait until the proper release of iOS 7 rather than put the beta on. Too many little niggles that would just annoy me. Plus, I can't be arsed copying all my music back on.

I rolled back last night as the battery life was through the floor and podcasts broken

Can you let me know when beta 2 comes out and if this has been addressed

I loved os7 but it was unusable with those issues
