Anyone dyno Air scoops?

Anyone with a data logger pull any numbers from them. I think I feel it (and I have an excellent butt dyno) but I'm not sure. Car is currently on Stock tune with the Eurobox (paper filter) and Cyba Scoops - It feels as quick (but not as smooth) as it did with the old tune and stock box.

Dyno will tell us for sure...
I did find this though

[QUOTE=darksideracer69;12901266]Again just playing with the app, but thought i would share. Its about 60-65 out for these test.

Box is wrapped and first test was with the rpi style intake scoops installed.

I do think they help, I mean I know when im doin' 80 on the freeway there has to be a significant increase of airflow into the box.

Oh and cool find on the z4 scoops, never looked into the scoops much.

What did you have in mind for the fan, an airboat?

I'm trying to make these forums interesting. -_-
Anyhow, I've seen a few dynos showing a gain with a non-moving car (though with fans) and the idea does make sense. The air is directed into the intake tract directly without passing through the radiator and absorbing heat.

There was the test I posted above that showed the temperature differences of 10degress with the scoops - same conditions. I just wonder if it will show up on MY dyno.

They were dyno'd in the E90 M3 and also proved gains there. If I find the thread I will post it here.
I have them installed. The cyba scoops have a really good price and they look great.
