Just be thankful all these updates are coming.

You will soon qualify to take the second spot in my e90post ignore list. Congrats!

If I didn't have the seat time with this firmware, most of you wouldn't even no the reason there a new firmware coming. At the end of the day, Shiv dictates what he wants implemented and when he wants to come out with it. I enjoy the updates and we can move forward now.

Are you calling us sheep because we wont play along with your ideas? WOW.

Dont you have a tune comparison list to update or something?? Maybe focus your time on keeping that thing current instead of... whatever it is you do.

Great. So I guess I'll be the top one now that he's not here.
Seriously, let's get back to topic. I had a suggestion and some of you took way to far. God-forbid someone else mentions a suggestion for the Procede or an improvement on a current feature.

Thing is that 100 percent of your suggestions are pointless and a waste of time. Maybe you should email to Shiv instead of littering this board with your crap

Guys guys.... Go easy on AltecBx. He was the first and, so far, only person to find a bug in the last firmware update. It's a silly bug that even got past me. It's already fixed and will be released today.

Hint: check your mapswitching persistency after turning power on/off

Finding fixes is great. Making pointless suggestions isn't.

I hate to keep bringing this up, but how was my suggestion pointless? Its an extra option on an existing feature. If you want, pm me.

lol.. yep. The gauge mode selection (gas level or boost level) sets the start up map (valet or 1, respectively). Just reading the wrong data byte. Confused me a for a few minutes as well.

Explains why I wasn't seeing consistent boost on the fuel guage. Any word on when the scamming for the 1 series will match that of the 3 series?

We already have the 135 display rescaled on our car. Just changed 1 small number in the code. But, right now, that requires a different firmware update. And i really don't want to offer different firmware for different models. So I'm trying to figure out a way to allow the user to rescale their display in the user software. Perhaps the valet roadspeed limit adjustment since we are not using that feature right now.

Works for me. So just to Confirm the maps were switching to map 1 by themselves? Cause I saw 10.5 psi on the guage then turned my car off and saw 7-8 psi. 10.5 in 1 series terms should be 16 and that what my Meth map is. My map 1 is 12 or 13. I just didn't trust the Guage and it was 100 degrees out so I thought it was slower due to heat soak. Never bothered to check.

BTW I spent an hour tightening hose clamps for nothing....bastard lol

Shiv
Shiv, if I may make a suggestion.
Is there a way that the procede through canbus read the vin #? If so, the procede can adjust accordantly what model of a BMW it's on (135,335,535,x6,z4). Of course, this is assuming that each model starts with a sequence of #'s and letter and have the last 5 or 6 #s empty.
