i'm sure its already hot down there, but when i put on my spoiler i used 3m tape from home depot & a heat gun to allow the tape to become more 'sticky' so to speak, then applied pressure all around for a bit & then taped down.
well, since you taking it to a dealer, shouldn't have any issues getting it redone for you. good luck |

Mines was worst and i had to do it 3 times, the 3m tape was not getting it done for me so i bought this other adhesive and mix it with the 3m tape and it stuck pretty good.

1. Pull it off, use some dental floss to cut the tape off, then remove all the residue.
2. Re-tape - and tape the front edge too this time. 3. Do it in the daytime, when it's warm out and the trunk is hot. 4. Once installed, tape down with blue painters tape and let it cook in the sun for a few hours to melt the adhesive and bond the surfaces. 5. Take painters tape off in the morning and it'll be good to go. 6. Don't get it wet until it's set up, don't do it in the cold, don't do it in the rain.

If you do that, you will never, EVER be able to remove the spoiler which is fine if you're into that whole permanent thing. Tape will hold up just fine as long as you do it properly and is reversible.

Sucks its coming off. I bet the dealer runs a bead of auto acrylic adhesive and mashes it down.

He says its not permanent. He knows this spoiler has got to come off in a year.

It seems like its on pretty solid still. The whole front of the spoiler is on there perfectly and so is the left side of the rear but I just dont want to take a chance and have it fly off.
