Wow wtf lol...how many miles 100k???
After the clean I would reset adaption values and give the car a chance to relearn with the cleaned valves. She'll run like a beast!! |

Just think of it as a semi- port/polish job. It'll be a nice difference and better mileage by 10% when they are that bad! |

Is there anyway you can get this covered under CPO? If you make a case for bogging down at higher RPMs or something like that...my car has 52K on it and I don't feel it's nearly as fast as it should. A little bit of stumbling during idle and it has new plugs...
I also get a boost leak code under high load so I've been meaning to call the dealer and see if there is anything they can do.

Usually after about 35-40K the valves are gunked up enough where it's worth it for a cleaning. If you have enough symptoms like bad idle and chronic misfires (stock) you may be able to get the dealer to do the work if you are still under warranty. I think MR.5 found about 15WHP on an intake valve cleaning Before and After.
