I just tried the ap beta, even though i did not have a problem before. I've noticed no more wipers going off and now i cannot see my rom on the ap anymore when hooked up to the computer?

Anyone else having this issue?

I couldn't see my rom when I first plugged in my AP to the computer, but it showed up on the second try.

The speed limiter issue is known and will be addressed with the v202 map update. THe exact behavior is that certain "xi" vehicles still have the factory speed limiter of ~135mph. The v202 map update will raise the limiter on these xi vehicles to match that 2wd brethren.

The fix for that will be a bit further out in the future as it's mainly cosmetic and of no particular consequence.

Just updated Firmware on my COBB AP. When I go to install this on my car come Sat will I automatically have version 2.01 and 91 Octane in my list, or does this have to be downloaded separately?
How do I get V1 and V2 ETC

Some quick help would be great guys! I will then be ready to throw her on by Saturday.
Thanks!

The maps should be loaded on the AP once you update the firmware. Once you plug the AP into the OBD port it should say install and then you should be able to choose what map to run from there.

Will it just show 91 Octane, 93 Octane ETC? Or will it show Map 2.00, and Map 2.01?

I only got charged ~$60 taxes and duty. Through USPS Express though, and Alan at **********s "helped".

You should have the 2.01 maps by default.
You have to request the new 2.02 maps from COBB.

Thats all? I chose UPS * quickest option * I had no Idea they charged more duty fee's on top of the ridiculous shipping charges! Oh well..

Thanks for the info, I'm all set to go now! I just need my damn car back from the dealer!

with the new firmware releases, is the 2007 problem back? I'm afraid to update and have it not work again.

I would wait until Rob releases a fix for the current issue. This seems to be different from the first problem some of us had, but I'm sure he can easily figure it out once he replicates it.

I had issues installing one of the new maps Cobb has put out. I called Cobb because I had issues reinstalling the AP. I was told to delete the maps on the AP through the AP manager, because the first time you install the firmware on the AP the original maps are still on the AP. So after deleting the maps I was able to successfully install the AP again.

If your happy with your current maps there is no reason to update until final release.

will S1 eventually support a small injection of meth setup?
let's say a stock car with S1 +meth, or S1 + FMIC + meth?

i looked at Aquamist and they have their standalone control unit with failsafe, will that be an ideal meth kit for S1?
