Business to CCC Professional Navigation Retrofit issue "NEED HELP"

Hi Guys
I have retrofitted my Business to CCC Professional Navigation and now have an issue with the IDrive controller
The scrolling control button doesn’t work; all other functions (press, left, right, up, down, menu) are working fine
I have scanned the system and no fault codes were present
Any help will be appreciated

Did it require an element of coding?

Have you seen my detailed retrofit post? You need a new controller with Pro Nav. Also have you got the voice activation FSC code?

No, I have not replaced the controller (I missed this point)
I tried to do the coding but in my case it stuck on “measures plan” and wouldn’t come through
How can I get the correct controller???

What are you retrofitting it in to, an E90 or E53? You need to look up the controller part number on realoem and you are looking for a controller to suit option S609.

You really need to follow the official retrofit guide, otherwise you will get problems. Plus if you brick a module when coding your stuffed. Hence you MUST follow the retrofit guide.

Type your VIN in to realoem and go to navigation > retrofit and then look up the EBA guide numbers. Then start searching the net for the guides or if you ask your dealer nicely they might give you a copy off the BMW ASAP web portal.

Do you have an proper copy of the BMW ETK parts program? In there you can search for the individual part components of a retrofit kit, this will give you the controller number you need. See my attachments in my retrofit thread as examples.

Here is an example:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...49&hg=65&fg=95

Follow the guide and do it 100% as they say or you are just asking for troubles. The coding alone takes a couple of hours, so make sure you have a good constant power supply hooked up to your car and not a battery charger. If you lose voltage when coding, you'll brick the module(s).
