ESS is considering making a SC kit for the N52!

I emailed ESS asking them about the DirectFlash ECU (it could be up to 15hp with software and supporting mods) and also asked them about possibly making something to add some real HP. I did not specify a SC kit, I just said that I was looking for 350-400hp.

He responded by asking me if it would be worth their while to develop a SC kit for our cars! I couldn't believe it.
Based on his response, PLEASE contact ESS if you are interested! Let them know it'd be worth while for them to develop this kit.

Here is his exact response:
We are contemplating making a SC kit for the N52 engine, something that brings it up to the 350-400hp range with a price in the $5K ballpark. Do you think there is enough market to support a product like this? The system will work on the E9x, Z4 and X3 platform.

I would love them to make a twin screw supercharger kit for the N52! 8 pounds boost is about 50% increase! 230 + 115 = 345HP. I would be happier with 6 pounds boost and 37.5% increase is 230 + 86 = 316HP! I can live with that.

im interested but i think by the time they make it, ill prolly will have a year left on my lease and id rather put that money into fees for a new 3series which will def be 335. wait.. may be not since lower models will be turbos too

of course if u guys keeping ur cars then for 5k$ its an awesome mod

HOWEVER, I somehow doubt the whole kit will be 5k. I think you're talking more 15k or more here. Think about it: Supercharger, then ECU, Fuel components, etc etc ..... I dunno man...
