Same for me, 58K without taxes. I will be leasing as well.
Do you think we will get the same dashboard as in the 335is? And yes, upgraded suspension would have been nice!!! Do you think it is too late to ask for ED? It is supposed to get here mid-late october.... |

I put the money down a few weeks ago, and the dealer just notified me that the finance APR is 2.9%.
By october its predicted that it will drop to 1.9% so if you guys are thinking about financing and can't afford a big downpayment I would wait until october! I got suchhh a good deal too...61K taxes and everything included! (no navi, manual transmission) I'm told the car will come in late September...im so pumped I got it in Jerez black. Anyone know if BMW has released pictures of an actual special edition? |

a new e90 base sedan is like 70k in canada, before delivery and taxes, that's an easy 12-15k difference. A coupe is 72k.
I priced a new e90 sedan with options at 75k before any dealing, before shipping/freight and taxes. Its rare to find even a 2008 e90 below 60k around here! |

Does anyone know the performance stats (0-60 in particular)?
Whats faster? 335 special edition OR 335iS? |

I was speaking to my sales rep and i will be getting a phone call as soon as they arrive at the dealer here. He said two are pre sold and they have two for inventory, with more ordered for stock. Im very excited to try this...

I don't think performance stats are published, but we drove both the Xi and the S about 2 weeks ago and the S is seriously fast. I think it's the double clutch trans that transforms the HP into killer acceleration. No DCT on the Special Edition.

Any news about september-october new promotions (lease/rebates/etc...) ???
When I leased my 128 in 2008 I leased mid-october and I had an additionnal 2K$ off if I remember correctly since it was a 2008 and 2009 came out. If rates go down or terms get better, we are entitled to the best rate at that point. I just wrote to the dealer, wainting for my expected delivery date!!! Can't wait, but still I just came from a 3 weeks vacation away from home, I god I do love my 128i sport! Gonna try to sell it instead of giving it back, only 41 000 kms....montego is quite rare here. |

from what I found out ( I have a production #), all of these spec editions haven't even started being built yet. It supposed to begin "in the next few days".
Take that for what its worth. Likely a week in production, 2 weeks shipping. Absolute best case. Likely end of sept, beginning of october. |

Ouch the dealership just wrote me an email...should be produced soon (how soon???) and delivered end of october maybe even november. The thing is that the residual value for the lease is dropping....maybe I'll start looking for an S4 as plan "B"...
