Some say they fit, some don't..

I currently have the style 189 on my car with 225/40/18 front 255/35/18 rear

I was thinking of these M6 Reps: http://www.**********s.com/product.a...=Miro_Type_346

However, Ron from **********s said that my stock tires wouldn't fit right...

then what tire would fit that rim?

Also, he said that these specific 18s just don't sit well in 335is....

However, I have seen people with these rims...

I want to keep my current tire set because 1) a new set is pricey and these are only 1 month old 2) i got the tire warranty so that i can in a way, get 'free' tires for life

what are your experiences with these rims if you have any?

Thank you

well your tires are staggered but those 18" m6 reps only come in 18x8 so the tires probably wont work. but i would listen to ron he is pretty knowledgable about this stuff

18's?

Not likely. Pretty much every set I have ever seen has been 19" .

Also, your tire warranty (if purchased from the dealer) will transfer to the new tires if you buy them.

??

I heard that I need to have the same size tire.... I don't think if I buy 19s (which cost more than the warranted 18s) would be covered.. that doesnt make much sense....

I repeat, if you got the tire and wheel warranty from the dealer, whatever tires and wheels are on your car at the time of an accident/claim are covered. It's an insurance policy...not a warranty. And that's just the way it works.

Call them yourself if you don't believe me.

I went with aftermarket tires/rims and have had two claims already.

lol it's not that i dont believe you i just was not completely sure what you mean

but i dont necessarily mean regarding an accident.. more so like if a nail goes in, or a pot hole or something similar...
