Combox retrofit keeps calling emergency services

Hi all

Hoping somebody can help me

I installed a combox into my car this evening with a diy retrofit harness

Whenever I connect the battery the sos button in the car turns green and dials the emergency services.

As wasting emergency services time is something I really do not want to do again I need to work out why its doing this before trying again.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I refitted the TCU and MULF2 into the car again and all is working as it should.

Don't know what the SOS situation is in Europe but it's no
longer supported here in the US.
You remove it with + or - TELD coding.

Thanks, do you know if that coding is done on the combox or another module?

I can't even code the car as the moment the battery is connected the car starts calling the emergency services

You removed the TCU?
Best to take these questions to the coding board.(sub forum)
Wonder if you can bench code it.
Also I have not heard of anybody else having that problem.

Yeah the TCU and MULF2 were removed and fitted the combox in their place

The second the car gets the battery connected the sos button lights up green and dials the emergency services so its as if it thinks the sos button has been pushed

Thanks for the help will have a look in the coding forum

I might try the +TELD or - TELD before switching to the
combox.

You might be able to supply 12 volts to the module on the bench
and read the setup in your combox and set some of the relevent
settings to nicht active.

Also does the signal to the emergency call button map out with your new
harness
