Where are the Bama folks?

Wondering if y'all are still around. I'm back in the saddle again. Had an apparent brain malfunction and thought I was tired of driving a manual so I sold my old 328i for an Infiniti G35 with auto.

Then I found another 08 328i 6MT with the same mileage as my old one.

I'll be slowly making it look as good as the old one.

I've been to a couple local BMW meets a while back, and the Cars & Coffee meet at Brookwood Village a few times. I'd love a 335i, but they just have too many problems to deal with for me.

I got a ticket in Alabama coming home to Atlanta from Destin. Got a speeding ticket on the highway from Dothan to Columbus. Rural Henry County. 20 over, had the car for about 2 weeks, It was stupid.

Definitely was a nice car and your new one is coming along quite well! I like the fitment of your new set up. I used to head up the "IS's of Alabama" Facebook page back when I was in the Lexus IS scene, but soon will be making a "Bama Bimmer" Facebook page and group for everyone around here to connect. I'll of course post it on here when I get it going.

The "Alabama BMW Group" Facebook Page and Group are now up, as I said I would do back in January. Created in hopes of connecting with fellow, local, BMW enthusiasts, through a quick and simple format.

Do a Facebook search for "Alabama BMW Group" and look for the logo posted above.

I was surprised that after I bought this car this past summer, there were no local groups for BMW's. I'm friends with people in "Bama GZ-R", which is a group for Nissan/Infiniti Z,G, and GT-R enthusiasts, along with my previous creation of "IS's of Alabama", for Lexus IS enthusiasts. Being familiar with these groups was the inspiration behind creating a way to connect for BMW owners and enthusiasts in Alabama.

I see plenty of tastefully modded BMW's in the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa areas, so I'm sure those guys are members of this forum. I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing our common interests in BMW!

Just noticed that someone else made a "Bama BimmerS" facebook group. I guess this happened between the time I said I was going to do it on here, and the time of me actually making the page, because before I made the page, I searched to see if anything was out there, and there was not.

Anyway, still looking to meet some fellow e90 owners/enthusiasts and others here in the Bham area!

There's a decent Bmw showing at Birmingham cars and coffee every Saturday at brookwood mall deck from 8-12. I go sometimes. There's a FB page for it also. Check it out

Yes I did. Search Facebook for "Bama Bimmer (From Bimmerpost)". There's also one somebody else made called "Bama Bimmers", but that's not us. The logo I posted above is the cover photo for our group.
