For Sale: DMS BMW 335i M Sport Touring with AP Racing brakes and Quaiffe LSD

Now I can finally post my own advert, after only just joining the forum, please find info below:

For sale is my BMW 335i M Sport Touring finished in Le Mans blue with Cream (Lemon) Dakota leather interior. The car is presented in excellent condition having been recently detailed and has a number of sensible modifications to make it the ultimate E9X Touring. It has been advertised for sale on this forum twice before by 2 of the previous owners.

We have only owned the car for a short while but my wife does not get on with it. It has caused massive arguments since i drove it home from Birds garage at the beginning of this year, having bought it on a whim one Friday afternoon whilst my wife was away for the day.. The car is a little to hardcore for her taste and a big change from our Previous BMW X5. It needs to go to a good home where it will be appreciated and used to its full potential and its back to 4x4 boredom for me :-(

The car was originally owned by BMW UK and so is well spec'd. It was first Registered in December 2006 The original spec as the car left the factory is as follows:

- M STAR SPOKE STYLE WHEELS 8/18 8.5/18
- AUTOMATIC GEARBOX WITH PADDLE SHIFTERS
- MULTI FUNCTION STEERING WHEEL
- REMOTE CONTROL ALARM
- M SPORT PACKAGE
- ROOF RAILS
- SLIDING FRONT ARM REST
- SEMI ELECTRIC SEAT ADJUSTMENT FOR DRIVER / PASSENGER
- BOOT STORAGE COMPARTMENT PACKAGE
- FLOOR MATS
- FIRST AID KIT & TRIANGLE
- AUTO DIMM INTERIOR MIRROR
- SPORTS SEATS
- STORAGE COMPARTMENT PACK
- FRONT SEAT HEATING
- HEADLAMP WASHER SYSTEM
- PARK DISTANCE CONTROL
- RAIN SENSOR & AUTO LIGHT ACTIVATION
- XENON HEADLAMPS
- AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING
- DYNAMIC CRUISE CONTROL
- EXTENDED INTERIOR LIGHT PACKAGE
- NAVIGATION SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL
- BMW ASSIST
- VOICE CONTROL SYSTEM
- BLUE TOOTH PHONE PREP AND TELEMATICS
- CD PREPARATION
- M SPORT SUSPENSION
- M STEERING WHEEL
- M-AERODYNAMIC BODY STYLING
- HIGH GLOSS SHADOW LINE
- ANTHRACITE HEADLINING
- AUTO DRIVE AWAY LOCKING
- Debadged

In addition to the Spec above, the car has also had the following cosmetic upgrades:

- BMW PERFORMANCE FULL CARBON FIBRE INTERIOR TRIM (dash, centre console and doors)
- BMW Performance Blackline Rear Light clusters
- BMW Performance Black shadowline Kidney Grilles
- All 4 wheels recently refurbished by Lepsons to an exceptional standard in Anthracite (No kurbing or blemishes whatsoever)
- Painted rear brake calipers in Red

The following Performance Modifications have also been added to the car.

- Full DMS Remap taking the car to roughly 370BHP with speed limiter removal.

- Birds Garage B3 Conversion which includes a Quaiffe Limited Slip Differential and AP Racing 6-piston 356mm brake kit with braided steel brake hoses.

All in, around £8500 worth of upgrades over the original specification when it left the factory. The car is in excellent condition having covered a little over 41,000 miles with Full BMW main dealer and Birds Garage Service History. It has just had 6 months tax put on it and has an MOT that runs through to September 2013. The wheels are shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 non runflat tyres all with good tread. The private plate N2 WHF will stay with the car when sold.

In terms of all round practicality with Supercar taming performance and very respectable fuel economy, you cannot beat this car. It has been enthusiast owned all its life and this shows in the overall condition of the bodywork and interior.

I may have missed it but this car seems to have everything except a price!!

A buyer not stating a price usually means to me that the seller is a little embarrassed by their idea on the price, if you know its a bargain or even properly priced then tell the world.

OP, I have an LCI e91 6MT with Birds treatment. Yours looks more like stock suspension ride height compared to mine, judging by the photos.

Looks cracking in blue. GLWS

Hi mate,

Do you have any interest in splitting the brakes - I would be happy to offer my brakes plus a large amount of cash if you have already sold/binned your OEM brakes.

No worries if not as always, the offer will stand for a while if you change your mind.

Thanks
Matt

French77,

Thought as much.

IMO, you need to tweak yr ad wording to remove reference to Birds B3 conversion. Folks may intepret this as chassis tweaks beyond just the brakes and LSD.

A lot of car for the money so shouldn't stay FS very long.

Dave
