New Brakes ...

For my MK1 RS2000

Popping back next month for a quick break. Will be "tweaking" the front suspension and steering before a big track/show event.

Lovely mate. Nice mod and will stop like a Biatch now.

Any recent pics of the RS2K?

Nice shiny new brakes Dave, just make sure when you brake hard the old rusty bolts that hold the calipers on don't break

Wow, that's in excellent condition, I guess it hasn't been out since you have been rebuilding it then ?

Just spent the week under my car. Fingers filthy with oil. A great break.

Car now fitted with all new parts :

Double width anti-dive kit (polybushed)
Rose-jointed adjustable TCAs (Polybushed)
Hi-ratio Quick Rack (Polybushed)
Ford RS Track Rod Ends
GP4 Steering Rack Coupling
GP1 Vented discs
Hi Spec light alloy 4pot calipers
EBC brake pads

Goes like a wee demon !!

Trundled straight from installation to an MOT and then to Kames motorsport complex (not on the track this year) for a big Escort meet I helped organise. Even had a few RS1800s turn up. Track action SUPERB, with a few full GP4 spec MK2s blasting around. Got out a few times as a co-pilot.

Great week. Great break.
