I bought the bmwhat app and cable off of amazon for a total of I believe maybe fifty bucks? it took a total of 30 minutes to code my lights and mirrors and seatbelt chime and what not. I haven't done any hardcore coding because im scared but the app does back everything up for you.
Also for the maps you just torrent the file burn and replace the old discs. |

OP, I had coding done on my last e92 335 pre lci and it took under half hour, like 6 things done (maybe more) and it was about 45$. The shop that did it is now closed in Nj but there are lots of forum members that do this. Check in NYC especially.
