It is unlikely I will buy a new AV Amp for sake of just a game, no matter how good the sound effect is going to be. I am not a very big fan of HighQuality home video, renewal of my AV system to any new standards is a big fortune where at the moment I can't see how this money can fit into my other priorities until I have sold one of my two 'real' cars.
Otherwise, the AV System replacement will only happen in 2010 when PS4 is and GT6p were launched.

I will report to your boss you have got all Xbox, Wii and Ps3, how would you be able to get any sleep and working the next day.

t
p.s.
Likewise the US government released US$168 billion back to all tax payers to save the economy. Because of the subprime loans crisis, property is getting lower and some homeowners are now facing the negative net-worth situation just like few years ago in HK.

Plenty of unsold PS3 in US...
Yap, that's what I referred as "combo". I prefer a single HDMI to AV Amp instead of kind of splitting the A & V signals to two processing appliances, while my previous experience of the difference in processing power makes the outcome like a joke. However, somehow, the current setup is acceptable, even I have tried to play a normal DVD. Need to try a BD next week.

I already planned to upgrade my Amp for the Samsung BD Player, but now can keep my Amp for some more time.

I believe PS3 in US got a diff geographical code for BD wor... really there are a lot of "jump off the building" HD player in US, a friend of mine just brought back one Toshiba+3 HD disc package for good.

Hey, my boss already said he would like to visit me next time in Hong Kong to play Beach Volleyball and Wii Fit with me...

I just follow the "Event" to finish round C and now halfway thru B.

So I have now a 147, Type-R, Copen, OFC-1 (was given when clear off round C), TT Coupe, Swift. And I will soon buy Golf GTI and R8 to clear off round B.

I think Riku & Cool said the online tracks will be refreshed every Thursday, by then we will know (correct, guys?) what is needed/allowed for the new races this weekend. So, I try not to care about it yet, just race for new cars. When your garage is full, no need to worry for any requirements. Working on this Project G...

pls tell me what is definition of clear off round C and how to clear off round C?
i am basically a game dummy.

ok, so let me confirm this, the priority of car I choose is subject to the types of cars which be allowed to enter all Round C race courses. i.e. I need a Copen to enter the Round C mini race?

So, after I have bought all the really needed cars, any spare money I can buy other ones, right?
I love the 135i and should have money to get it now.

cheers

no problem. I also just tried them out these couple of days

in the "Event", u will be first presented different stages of Round C. Each stage have its own requirements on cars and clearance. Normally is to get 3rd place or above, or reach certain lap speed. You will get a trophy cup if cleared. When all stages of Round C are cleared, Round B will be opened for you, so on.

No worry about when to get your beloved 135i, as you can always earn money by running rounds and rounds of stages. But you are right, you need to buy certain cars just for stage clearance purpose.

My 111, Impreza and EvoX are also ready! Just only not "qualified" for the race for Ferrari's...

BTW, just got to know a trick of using the right analogue stick for accelerate and brake... should be much better for me than pressing the X & O...

Hey brothers,

All the races was fun , hopefully it will get better when the next type of races this coming thursday .... but until thursday comes i dont really know what type of cars it will let us use for the online events ......

If i have to guess, i would say TYPE-R (i am sure you all have this already), Audi TT, BMW M3 (will be required in ClassA for a race), and BMW Z4.

Well those are my guesses, so unless u have extra money , i suggest u wait until thursday and see the Race Requirements first then buy the needed cars la.

Also, for tonight I really hope we can all have the extra money to buy a Elise111R la ... because the with the 111R we can race the Oval Daytona Online Race event and the Elise 111R only Small Suzuka Online Race Event.

If u really really have the extra money, u can check other cars u can buy for the OVAL Daytona Online Race event, as it allows you to use about 15 diff cars for that race ....

*Since 111R was a "common" car for 2 different Online Race Events, so by "1 bird 2 stone" i suggest u guys get "111R" law

Awesome, then tonight we can play in 3 different Online events la.

BUT I MUST TELL YOU ALL, that in the ONLINE EVENTS ... there is 2 MODES ...

1 - is the NOVICE mode that we are all driving in right now (NOVICE EVENT)
2 - is the Intermediate Mode / HARD mode .....

In the HARD mode (sometimes Intermediate Mode, depending on the race requirements) the DRIVING METHOD will be set and required to be PROFESSIONAL (instead of NORMAL). Therefore it will be more hard and really really like driving a REAL car in this "PROFESSIONAL" mode.

You can see which mode you are in at the "AT/MT, DSC, TCS Options Screen" before each race. The option "Normal" / "Professional" is shown just BELOW the AT/MT option in that screen. So BECAREFUL when you see "PROFESSIONAL" .... and MUST turn on SOME type of DSC / TCS ...

* i dont have a good camera so i couldnt post pics .. sorry .... if anything just MSG me or CALL me to ask ...

** Also, if u need any game tips or driving tips ... also msg or call me la

Besides controlling your volume thru your phone (if any equipped), while you are on the bridge you can press "* 5" to increase your voice and "* 8" to decrease your voice step by step, i.e. you can press several "* 5" to become louder and louder.

Other commands:

* 6 - mute/unmute your line
* 4 - increase your listening volume
* 7 - decrease your listening volume

P.S>Applies to the bridge(s) I provide

this is my own business conference bridge, so you will be hearing my company name at the initial greeting prompt when you dial in. BTW, if the full version support online voice chat, it will be more fun!

Other commands:

* 6 - mute/unmute your line
* 4 - increase your listening volume
* 7 - decrease your listening volume

croco, hope your generosity doesn't give you any trouble.

Probably someone can follow the instruction to set up the Ps3 Chat room with a built-in IPphone paired to a Bluetooth headset, a USB video cam allows video conferencing.
It is proven working.

Thanks T.

Yap, if there will be coming up problem, I will let u guys know to look for another better way. I mean "own business" as I sell conferencing bridge services to my own customers, so for some "minimal" usage can be viewed as a kind of quality testings, likewise my mobile is calling international free of charge by going thru my company's network, etc... but don't ask me to pay you back for doing the tests.

Good though to research thru how to do that Online chat feature. Sounds cool.

The online chat "cntlaw" mentioned, only works OUTSIDE of the game ... once inside GT5P ... this Video conference or BT headset also wont work once in the game.

If anyone do pickup the USB camera for video conference, let me know ... as i have the CAM but no one to test it with ...

This Playstation Cam also includes MIC, its actually quite nice ..
