Out thought, out played, out scored - Italy could have had 5. Germany were perhaps too confident coming into this game. Italy played a fantastic game and were by far the better team and will grace the final.

Solid defense and effective counter attack from Italy, and German's offence was lack of creativity and variety. Plus there's Buffon!!!!

Another key factor in tournament football is your best players have to play well if youre going to progress.........and Rooney was nowhere near his top form unfortunately.

Balotelli was the man of the match, but his character/mentality: I have some serious doubts about that.

smh... defense pooped on themselves and offense wasn't helping to take pressure off at all... just a shitty game for Germany.

Balotelli is a cocky ass that will get shut down by Spain... his goals against Germany really weren't anything special other than goals that are supposed to be put in the net. He'll get frustrated v.s. Spain when he can only touch the ball twice the whole match.
