can you take a picture of them in day time outside... not indoor?

I had V2 before recall... and during the day, it was not as visible as I wish for. So I was wondering if the Yellow would actually stands out better...

Hey Shinchan! I was actually thinking the same question. I think they should stand out better since there will be more contract of the amber versus the daylight color.

Do these fade on and off like the factory?

Also, do you have any flickering at any point?

Car looks great!

The LUX are LEDs so they don't fade on and off like halogen.
They do flicker on when you turn on the ignition.

I just installed my Lux v2's... I had in GP Thunders before. The difference is AMAZING. Lux are by far the best option, can't believe how many people gawk at my car now... no more LED envy from Audi, Benzos, or Porsche's... HAHA, call me a dork!!!

Bimmers have a very unique and beautiful LED option if you get the right product!

just because it's LED doesn't mean all LED's don't fade. think about the AE kits for the E46's they fade in and out.

for the record, my LED's fade.

It depends on the emitter and power supply used in construction. The original Weisslicht H8 LEDs also would fade in and out.

Judging by the color temperature 6000k and 6500k, is there a visible difference in terms of color and output (2 LED vs 4 LED)?

i guess for the LUX to offer maximum power, it needed to give up the fading option.

Marc: for the upgrade option, why do V1 people have to upgrade when they aren't affected by the recall (pre 10xx batch), since only the Power supply is being swapped and not the bulb?

There is no upgrade option for the V1 users. For the V1 users, their power supply is already inside the headlight, so there is no need to upgrade to the V3 power supply. I hope this answers your question.

As for the color difference between the 2 LED Vs. the 4 LED - the 4 LED version is a bit cooler and also offers more even light distribution

Will this still throw an error for early build E92 (10/2006)?
