XTool iobd2 - who has one?

I've just ordered this so I can check on a few things.

Does anyone else on here run one with an iPhone?

How do you find it?

Let me know how you get along with it, seems good but bad reviews.

I only have one at the moment but I'll get some more up.

I just selected a few options for my display at random but mainly wanted the device for fault codes and the coolant temperature to check on my thermostats before I hoik them out and replace them.

That's a fairly respectable view of the gadget!

I have been playing with mine some more, I'm very pleased I bought it but think I'll be changing my thermostats soon

How do you like it 4 months later? Still good? I don't quite understand it though. How is it hooked up to your obd2, does it need a cable or anything? I'm really considering getting one. Also I can use mine on another car right?

Also does it do everything a regular OBD2 scanner does? And is the 0-60mph accurate?

4 months on I still use it often to check the water temps and how the cars running and I still think it's great value for money!!

I haven't tried the 0-60 function I must admit, that's not my thing but I could have a go I guess if I'm out later, I'm not sure what my missus will think as it does a great job of re arranging our faces with the torque on my overtakes as it is

It connects as it creates a wifi network that you connect to via your iPhone in the settings menu and the open the app and connect to your car and it loads the correct settings and your away.

If your at the BMW meet on Sunday at the Heritage Motor centre your welcome to see it for yourself.

I've had mine for about a month and its IMO a great bit of kit, easy to use simple re resetting fault codes(worth while storing codes in the history bank purely for monitoring) I've set mine up on my iPhone 5 and iPad, which is simple to do. setups a breeze and from the word go its easy to use.

I've had a brief look at the dashboard displays and all that looks OK and quite informative with data like air/water temperature etc, that might come in handy to help with certain faults, though the performance side of things didn't/doesn't really do it for me its a great little gadget to have though not for me, but overall to sum up I'd say it's a decent bit of kit

Did you purchase the BMW type or the standard OBD2?

I just ordered mine yesterday. The next best one was by GoPoint but that was $140 so I opted for this one. I'm in California lol I just typed "xtool iobd2 e90post" into google and your thread popped up. I can't wait to see what it does
