I just hate hate hate the infotainment screen, the amg gt has a much nicer screen. The MPG figures are the same as the M3/4 in the EU btw

So does it have HUD? and the non S saloon weighs 3780/3813 lbs?

and where are the pics of the coupe???!?!??!?!?

Before anyone gets butt-hurt from my comment, I took my Drivers Test at 17 in a manual. My first 4-5 cars were manual. But in this day and age, it really is too cumbersome and a real PITA especially in traffic. Unless you have some Classic Car or Race Car that you actually RACE, there's simply no need for a manual. These DCT and Auto-Manuals are so much sweeter.
Really is up to your preference. All my cars at the moment are auto, and all are an absolute BORE to drive. I've driven many DCTs, most recently a Z4 35is, and found it very dull. I'm itching to hop back into a stick. Many people on this board, including myself, appreciate the fact that BMW still offers the enthusiast tranny on the M3 despite low take rates. But come to think of it, all the past C AMGs (C36, C43, C32, C55, C63) all exclusively had autos. Just thought an MT would be a welcome option.

Fffuuuuu that interior rocks! Can you find any pictures of a Designo Red interior on the sport seats? Does ambient lighting change like the S Class?

Coupe won't be out for a while as the 507 Edition W204 Coupe is still in its final year as a '15 model.

The transmission will be a newer, upgraded version of the MCT. The MCT is unlike an automatic in that it has no torque converter. Instead, it utilizes a wet start-up clutch.

The MCT's automatic modes are brilliant (C, S, S+). They are very smooth and usable around town, although S+ is much more aggressive (fastest shifts, gears are held onto longer, throttle is blipped automatically on downshifts).

C AMG is a better bang for you buck compared to M3, but overall, M3 is still a better car. Too bad BMW made the M3 cheap, but kept the price high.

Not sure how you can say the M3 is the better car when no one knows really anything about this car yet. Given the very mixed bag of reviews on the m3/4 I wouldnt dare say the c63 wasnt a better car especially considering Merc's very recent success and ability to outdo BMW in almost every way when theyve been at their best.
At VIR, the e63 amg beat the m4 around the track by large margin (2 seconds on a 3 min lap). That says a lot when a ~4400 lbs car is beating BMWs best and lightest M car by that much not to mention a huge beating on the m5/6 which it actually competes against.

I've been in and test drove the new c300 and c400. Interior is near perfect and the quality/fit/finish is as well.

An interesting note about the W205 C63 . . .

For the first time ever, the C63 is wholly an AMG product. It is no longer a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. Rather, it is an AMG C63 (which is why for the first time ever, the AMG logo/badge is on the left side of the trunk instead of the right).

Absolutely horrible design as if somebody used gorilla glue and put it on. The dash line is completely broken.

Also, way too much chrome for my taste. Chinese and Russians probably like it.

I don't see any chrome. I see a lot of optional brushed aluminum.
