Fortune Magazine top 10 Rides
Surprising with some rankings, but BMW fared well. I would not consider these people auto enthusiasts by any means, but a varied perspective as to what Im used to hearing on some categories.

o' rly: Ask an automotive engineer -- off the record -- to state a benchmark, and chances are he'll pick an Audi.

How did the M3 coupe win best small coupe but the exact same performing M3 sedan didn't even make the list and the 335xi is in 3rd??

I don't get how the RS4 could be a "high watermark" or "benchmark" when it was an already outdated car by the time that article was published..

And if you read these forums you'd think the same thing about M-DCT equipped cars. I owned VW/Audis for 15 years. They are very well built. Reliability was a problem with some but they were still well built. Being well built doesn't equate to reliability especially when the majority of the failures are from 3rd party parts.
