New 2011 BMW 335d

I'm looking to purchase a new BMW 335d that has an MSRP of 52, 025. It is a Space Grey Metallic with Comfort, Premium and Nav, with Satellite radio and iPod connector thrown in. I offered(maybe too high now in retrospect) to purchase the car for 48k. With the Eco-Credit the car comes down to an all inclusive pre-tax price(destination and all related charges included) of 44, 500.

My question is, is this a good deal or could I go ever lower than invoice pricing which is what I offered, for a car thats already sitting on the lot. I probably could order for one for a thousand more.

Thanks

MSRP on this car with options provided is $51,575 and invoice $47,635
Negotiate the price around the invoice, ECO credit is a separate thing.

That's less than what I could buy the car for through USAA's car buying service which is who I went through to buy my '11 335d.

USAA has MSRP at $51,575, Invoice at $47,955 and a member price of $44,754. If you can get it for that price I would say that you did good.

Yeah, if I agree with cssnmns, if you can get it around invoice, you're doing really well. Dealers are less likely to budge on the prices of diesels.

BTW, I see you are in the DC area. I purchased my car from VOB in Rockville.

VOB has a terrible reputation when it comes to service, but they are only 3 mi from my house so it was convenient. Plus their new dealership is pretty nice and my sales person (Nan) was easy to deal with.

Do not offer 48K! Do yourself a $3,000 dollar favor. Use the USAA buying service and you will get it for way below invoice due to the eco credit. It will be around 46K.

To be specific:

MSRP $51,575
Invoice: 47,995
USAA Guaranteed Price: $45,995

If you pay me $1,000 I will get it for you and you still get it for less

My 2011 335d had an MSRP of $57,800. This deal was in June though.

ECO credit: $4500
Dealer Discount: $3300

Actual Selling Price: $50,000 (wheel/tire warranty & floor mats thrown in)

I was plenty happy with 8k off a custom ordered 2011.
