Well it's true that MS was on Top Gear last night, but I don't think it's true that he is really The Stig.

Just all part of the publicity to get people watching.

Yep, no chance in hell it is actually him. Just a good tie-in with Ferrari, and probably the only way to get that FXX thing around the track.

i remember seeing an article a few months ago it was someone else. my guess is that there isnt one stig, there are many depending on the show and availability.

Thats exactly what I thought funnily enough, I even said I bet Shumacher is driving that thing to my missus when I heard how exclusive it was.

Then it turns out to be the Stig, I forgot what I had said a second earlier, except that then it was the Stig...

Damn you're good Paul!! I knew the Stig wouldn't have been MS but i didnt tie in the FXX and them getting to use it around their track - makes sense though!

I read somewhere that the FXX used was his own. Makes even mores sense.

But 7 seconds quicker?? Ouch, that thing looked and sounded utterly amazing.

Indeed. MS's FXX is the only one without the stripes, apparently? So that stacks up.

That FXX looked amazing and sounds even better!!! Are they going to let the time stand? As i thought it was only road legal cars that could post a time?!

exactly, it should not be on the board. It is a production car (30 made if I am right) but for sure not road legal, so it should not be on IMO.

Changing the rules me thinks, i wonder if that was one of Ferrari's conditions?! The Renault F1 car should be at the top 59secs!!!

They also had that Purple F1 looking car that was road legal - that also did 1m 10s but was disallowed because the rule is that the car has to be able to get over a sleeping policeman without bottoming out IIRC
