So besides Bandimere and the station on Ralston Rd. in Arvada, where are all the 100+octane stations these days?

That list is very old, most of those don't exist anymore (wish they still had the Sinclair in the DTC, that one is right next to my office.)
I'm going to try the one on Santa Fe (used to be Duggars, now something else) and see if they are open in the morning. If not, then I won't worry about race fuel most likely. Oh and I will be putting in new plugs and BMS catch can tonight. |

Had a great time today and the weather was awesome!
Here are my runs: 14.33 @ 98.9, 2.385 (60'), DA 6,824ft ASL 14.73 @ 99.5, 2.644 (60'), DA 7,140ft ASL 14.12 @ 99.4, 2.162 (60'), DA 7,429ft ASL 14.17 @ 98.9, 2.213 (60'), DA 7,579ft ASL 14.56 @ 98.3, 2.441 (60'), DA 7,863ft ASL According to Drag Times, the density altitude was around 7,400ft today, so that 14.12 @ 99.4 would equate to roughly a 13.5 @ 103 at sea level. About what I would expect for a bone stock 335i Step. Overall, I'm pleased. The only issue I kept running in to was lack of traction. Next time I'll probably play with the tire pressure like you guys suggested. Great meeting you guys today too! -Rich Last edited by richpike; 04-15-2012 at 09:34 AM.. Reason: Added 60' and DA. |

Great seeing everyone today! I just got home. I'll post my results here in a bit. I was having traction issues like crazy. In addition, I was still not used to the new clutch (only had 80 miles on this new clutch).

Here are my runs, 91 octane + meth:
#1 13.302 @ 109.36, 2.125 60' #2 13.246 @ 108.40, 2.132 60' #3 13.711 @ 107.23, 2.272 60' Some issue with brake boosting/launch control or maybe a transmission/transfer case that I need to dig into that caused the poor 60' times vs last year. Nice to see the extra 2mph trap speed though. |
