Well if your on the fence to see if i make more power than the current singles, well, we fully intend to once i change the tranny.

But.. if you want to build your own kit to compete with the VFF900. You need to go to a very reputable fabricator and the tuning will be the next speed bump.

We are getting to the tuning phase very soon.

Call Proven Power talk to them, call FFTEC and talk to them, call other reputable places. Its a tough choice i know, i was in your shoes in December.

Go with VS3 if you have some time..Theres a first round guy selling his spot on the other forum. Things are going to progress a lot this year

If you have a couple months, stay tuned

The tuning issues are the only part I'm concerned with. Between two buddies and I we could more than tackle everything if we knew what the catch was that kept previous people from successfully tuning an ST N54. What all gets modified in Vishnu's DME flash?

If this is your only concern, stay tuned. Im not going to troll act like we have it handled lol..
I imagine one of the hurdles is using the DME to control boost on non OEM style wastegates.
We are going to use an EBC. And then tune to match a specific load. Sounds easy i know lol.. but i doubt it will be easy considering throttle closures and part throttle tuning.
Nothing is impossible though As we progress we will get these build threads updated.

Thanks! its my car lol... im dying to drive it... we are close.. Fuel parts on the way from vargas and the shop is taking care of the alternator. Im at work in alaska right now.......

I work in the oil field on the Northern arctic coast of alaska.. Prudhoe Bay Oilfield. I do pipeline pigging. (internal inspection of pipelines with a tool that gets sent from one point to another collecting data)

How are you controlling boost?

Are you using the wastegate spring?

Or will you be using a boost solenoid?

Also what about the Christmas tree on the dash I'm assuming removing all the solenoid from the stock set up raised some red flags.

That was in the first post of the thread? 15psi spring on the wastegate, and a tuner to start removing the codes its looking for.

I would imagine if you have the solenoids still connected with a ISO G5 as it interrupts the boost signal completely you can eliminate all the under/over boost coding and still fool the computer for fuel delivery.

None of that. Car has been driven under light idle and so far nothing but an 02 sensor code, we will deal with other codes/lights as they arise
