Confused about wheels/tire setup

I know, another thread

I've been researching the hell out of this topic - but need you xi'ers to chime in and help me. New wheels/tires are going to be my last mod - and I want to make sure I do it right! There seems to be so many choices...

I know I want to get the Miro 942's (performance 313 reps) but not sure which setup I want. The main concern is not messing up the xdrive (last thing I need is a blown transfer) and I don't want any rubbing whatsoever. I was leaning towards the stag 19's but general feedback has been that I'll have a "monster truck" look without a drop. I don't plan on doing a drop. I was thinking of the following:

19x8.5 ET 35 with 235/35/19 tires - front
19x9.5 ET 33 with 265/30/19 tires - rear

19x8.5 ET 35 all round with 235/35/19 all (non staggered)

or

18x8.5 ET 35 all round with 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear.

Totally confused as to which would look better!! Also, any recommendations on quality all-season tires? Have to dump the RFT's. I've heard Conti Extreme Contact DWS are great but also heard that General Exclaim UHP tires are great too.

Any help is much appreciated. thanks!

You're fine going with either of the setups for the MiRo 942 BMW Performance 313 style wheel.

If you're going with the 19" setup you should go with the 19x8.5 ET35 with a 235/35/19 in the front and 19x9.5 ET33 with a 265/30/19 in the rear.
If you're going with the 18" setup you should go with the 18x8.5 ET35 with a 225/40/18 in the front and 18x9.5 ET35 with a 255/35/18 in the rear.

Feel free to shoot me over a PM if you have any questions about the fitments for your 335xi !

I was looking to do the same thing on my e92 328xi. I would suggest the 18s if u don't wanna do a drop on ur car. I also feel like the 18s is a much better and humble look for the 313 style.

The general uhp's are great...my friend had a set of them on his 328. But he did say they are more of a summer tire than all season

Please let me know what set up u finally go with and what tires u decide on.

Good luck!

^^ thanks. I'm leaning towards the staggered 18's with the Conti DWS all seasons. I agree, if I have no immediate plans to drop - the 18's might be the best look. 19's might have that "monster truck" look that I'm not too found of ....and the ride quality is probably much harsher. NJ/NYC roads are atrocious and full of pot holes. I don't plan to swap out for the winter....so this would be all year round.

you should look at buying the rims from OEMconcept ...they have a 899.99 deal for the 18s with free shipping. I was looking at doing that and getting my tires directly from tire rack...

still a little confused with tpms...do you know if we could use the tpms on our stock rims/tires for the miro replicas?
