Looks truely amazing! I love the way you have transformed the interior..

Not sure I would have done the Carbon wrap, but that doesn't detract from the excellent work you have put in and the amazing results... Bravo!

Got the interior finished today...
Rear Seatbelts arrived the other day and the fronts came this morning, so got cracked on
Rear m3 ones

Got the fronts of Jammy (big thanks pal)

Covered the chrome insert on the gearknob and idrive control

Before

All done for now give up looking for a carpet for now, so inside is done I'm wanting to re do the suspension and some other bits
Thanks to all who commented on the trim it's made me get on with it a bit quicker than I normally would

Had today off so decided to have a play around with the headlights,
Bumper removal was a bit of a pain but the rest was easy and straight forward,
Here's some pics,
8.00 this morning started to remove the front bumper, with a hangover from hell

Lights out

Used a heat gun to split the lights

Stripped the chrome and removed the indicator lens for painting,

Light rub down and a coat of plastic primer, then a coat of matt back

Building back up

Re sealed the lights,

Light back in

Bumper back on and a few snaps

Very pleased with the look
Going to order some Cree s now but car needs a good wash detail,
Still looking for a decent black carpet if anybody knows where there is one
Comments welcome

Just caught up with this whole thread and read it for 20 minutes! amazing stuff, and very brave!

A quick question about the auto gear knob, the chrome panel, is that just held in with clips, any advice about getting it off, as i might do the same as you and repair my steering wheel and chrome panel that doesnt match anything with satin black. Has the satin finish worn well since you painted it? Id be nervous about having a touch point like that in the car that hasnt got a lacquered finish.

Keep up the good work, Andy

Mine wasn't glued it was just on clips, the above thread will give you an idea where they are.
Steering wheel has held up well and still looks new when all cleaned up

^ cheers

Started @ 7 this morning as knew this was going to be a bit of a task, after a few too many drinks on Sat eve I bought a carpet and some various sprays, I only had today to go at as back working tomorrow so here we go,

Seats out

Console out

Handbrake, loads of wiring....

Carpet out

Replacement carpet

Also tinted the rear lights

The cream carpet was rank, should be better to keep clean also thinking of putting the cream centre console back in now maybe ...

Serious effort gone in to this car, good man. Looks great. Did you think about swapping the lower dash for black at all?

Looks great mate!

One question,

The H&R drop looks really low. Is it reasonable for UK roads and also hows the ride?
