You know you can exchange them right?
I did the same thing and I exchanged the e90 ones for the e92 ones

Hmm... I don't think so.

You don't have that many speakers in the car!

Well, you need to keep in mind these are designed to work with the HiFi amp because they are running 2-Ohms and have crossovers that maximize the sound quality int that setup.

If you already have amps, you may want to look into some other speakers, with adjustable crossovers, which could get the best out of your setup.

Not that I don't want to sell my speakers but, get a pro like Technic or VPElectricity to advise you before you make the move.

i thought you said they were for the logic 7 setup, which is what he has. HIFI does not have a center speaker

HiFi in Canada is logic7, its confusing.

I know he has the right OEM system. But He also mentioned he had aftermarket amps to drive the speakers. If he is not using the OEM amp, are the BSW really the best choice, being 2 Ohm speakers with built in crossovers designed for the stock amp?

This comment amuse makes me wonder, do we even know what the mid/tweeter crossover point is on the BSW speakers? I don't think it is published, has anyone tested?

Well there is no crossover
There is a cap on the tweeter limiting lower frequencies, but nothing on the mid

Well I can tell you I'm using the BSW speakers with an aftermarket amp
And they sound great
As per BSW, don't give them more than 50w , which is exactly what my amp puts out
And I high pass them around 80hz @24db
no issues after close to a year
Just make sure the aftermarket amp can handle a 2 ohm load

okay, i have an jl xd400/4, a mono 250/1, and a xd 600/6 from my previous install, would any of my amps work with the speakers or would it be more cost effective to look for something aftermarket? sre feel like im thread jacking but the help is appreciated Kmarei&rout3r.

Those amps are garbage
I'll take them off your hands for $200

Both will work
But try to keep then gains very low, because 100w rms will probably blow the BSW spacers
They have stated in a thread here, that they should get 50w rms
The XDs put out about 100 into 2 ohm
So you can see where the issue is

I am high passing my BSW mids at 80hz at 24db, but I'm only giving them about 50w rms
I'd recommend a higher crossover point, since you are giving them 100 w rms

But if you do decide to sell the amps, let me know
