No kidding, of course I know that. The cobb AP stage 1 curve is quite conservative to say the least. The point I am trying to convey is I want to see this data on piggybacks (multiple cylinder ignition advance) on meth.

Got ya don't think its possible on a piggy as a lot of these special monitors aren't available unless enabled through flashing...what the piggies have access to is what you see in the BT and that's if they can snoop the packets off the wire going from a tool such as BT to the OBD port --> not easy

Btw, the Cobb stage 1 maps have 8 degrees lower ignition over stock at some points in the curve

Depends on how they modeled the boost curve..4deg less up top I'm sure...not sure about the low end...

how did you come to a conclusion its 8deg less than stock timing? can you demonstrate?

2 degrees @ 4500 on stage 1. 10 degrees same rpm on stock software

um... you see the boost drop right.... thats why the timing is money.

I'm thinking that BMS was going to change that to see the timing from the cylinder that was reading the lowest at any given time. So the reading would be devised from all six cylinders. Which ever one is the lowest, records the reading.

Not 100% sure if its doing that in our beta units just yet, but I thought it was the plan.

No piggy currently has a way of reading timing from all 6, just cylinder 1...the way cylinder 1 was obtained was by snooping the BT command for cylinder 1 timing...others, AFAIK, aren't available unless turned on by flashing the DME...even then, you need to add commands for actual monitoring...in other words, its challenging for piggies to do that, but we've been surprised with what they've done in the past as well, wouldn't surprise me and it would be nice if it happened again
