This makes me wonder if I'd survive a deer coming through the window since my car is pretty low... =X

So preliminary estimates are around 9,000 in damage (labor included)

I am hoping for suggestions on mods since my SA at Daniels is all about updating the appearance of my 328.

I am torn between the OEM m package bumper or the m3 rep from **********s.

I also decided that since my stock intake is trashed and a 300$ upgrade to the BMW performance one is a must.

Any suggestions, ideas etc... are appreciated!

My intake is trashed so a new OEM one is around 550. So I pay the difference to upgrade, about 300, since insurance picks up the 550. Net cost 850.

get the bmw performance front. closer look to m3 and more unique than mtech or m3 rep.

Would you be able to sell the harness on your smashed headlight? I need the inner harness.

I really hate deers. It took out my accord and my lexus is 350, i hope it doesn't do it to the bmw. But I feel the deer family is on the look out for me.

Glad you're ok! A question I've been wondering. Does insurance restore your car to factory condition? Or do you have some say-so in what parts are used.. say you had an M3 rep hood on the car or a set of after market rims that got damaged?

I can't speak for aftermarket parts on cars (I assume they are not covered unless you have a specific Rider on your policy for such a thing)

My insurance is trying to find used or aftermarket parts that can be used to reduce the cost of the repair, but nothing is set in stone yet.

I'm actually from the area in Lancaster and last winter I hit one in my truck and literally ripped it to pieces without scratching my truck... And I was going 80.. My friend has a 2006 330xi and she was going 30 and hit a deer.. $3000 damage.. I love my BMW but my truck is my choice for the winter!

That sucks man. I have to drive through the country to get to work every morning and haven't hit a deer yet, but it is one of my biggest fears. Hopefully it works out in your favor.
