Confused?? Swirl flaps.....

I have a 335d 2007, does this engine have any problems with flaps or anything else??

I think I've read of 1 instance on this section (M57/N57). Doesen't seem to be an issue with the latest iteration of the M57 powerplant.

It was an issue for my car. "Swirl flap actuator" and led to my air intake manifold being replaced.

^Yeah, but I think it's more common with the pre-lci across the pond. I think you were one of an unfortunate few so far, Greek (with that specific issue).

So I've been told today I have got the dreaded flaps, so I want to delete them just to be safe, now without taking manifold off how do I find out if they are 22mm or 32mm holes?? Really want to do this before I get dpf removal pipe!!
