Never trust a sales guy name Shahid to begin with. Everyone who live close to this dealership should go find Shahid and take a test drive of whatever car that interest you then just tell him after that you are no longer interested because you have already bought a car and waste an hour of his time and gas.

I just looked at the carfax and it still shows that it's a one owner car. Since the dealership took title of it all the way back in April, a dealership employee could be using it as their car.

one more reason for me to not like car salesman, some of them can be such scum bags, they'll lie and cheat just to make a sales, I'll call him and ask for the car and will schedule an appointment for a test drive. and I'll sound very convincing that I am really interested in the car

I called and it said the Verizon wireless customer is not available. I guess you guys have already harassed him but its pretty shady to have the used section of the lot go to a cell phone... I'm gonna call their regular number and try to harass them a bit

Update: Got him working numbers for me.. I even had him look into turning my car in (have 2 more months on my lease) to get the bimmer. We should just have them pay your gas back and agree to stop pestering them once thats done

oh wow.. I never even thought to check the carfax report on ownership. I can't even fathom what this dealership is doing at this time. The sales manager (or assistant manager) still won't even speak to me. I guess I'm just a person bent on ethics and it really bothers me to see a dealership that carries a BMW logo being so shady.

Really the corruption obviously comes down to the sales manager and what they tell their employees to do.

Also everytime each time I've called BMW corporate all they do is state they record it so that their "watchdog team" can evaluate things at some later point. Then claim that this does at some point have an impact on the dealership. We will see.....

You'd think after all the trouble I've created they would at least remove the car from their website????? Maybe it's time to take my story to more BMW forums.. It seems they don't get the picture yet.

When I put a complaint in with the board of consumer affairs in NJ I included the estimated cost of gas to drive there and back. In the vehicle driven using highway miles I came out to $39.xx. Will I ever see it, no. But who cares..

Are you saying the company is still working out numbers for you on this exact car????????????? Even after everything I've done over the phone, via email and face to face w/ them over this issue????

I worked with a total of 4 different people on this issue: Shahid (sales rep), Mike (sales rep), an older guy in person (sales rep) and the sales manager. The assistant sales manager is also aware because they explained the issue to him and he refused to call me back or speak to me.

I filled that exact form out 2 days ago. I doubt I'll ever see anything but at least someone will be looking at them.

Shahid is not an easy man to understand to say the least. As you might assume from his spelling. The other salesmen seemed pretty nice, but obviously looks are deceiving.

this is their main number: 973-627-0700 . Then the receptionist asks you used or new sales and if you were working with someone. Last time I called I said I wasn't working with anyone and got Shahid, so I hung up. Called back later and asked for Mike.

If I get some time later this week I think I'll call and ask for the sales manager trying to strike a deal on an immensely expensive car. Then I'll ask him about that 335i.

Yep, I gave him the stock number... no call back so far so maybe they got wise to some board members harassing them, but who knows. I would never give these guys business, however, since my lease is over soon, and I am actually looking for a used 335i, I was able to keep him on the phone for about 10 min with some convincing questioning.
Its really douchey to have a real bmw place pull these kinds of things. I figured since I'm in the market it could have easily been me driving way out there....
