Exhaust tips
Chaps,
I'm looking for some new tips for the back of my 335d. The larger tips that a few of you are running look awesome. However, I think they look a little too aggressive for the rear of my SE and I would prefer a more subtle tip. The 3.5" Dimisa tips are perfect for what I'm looking for and fill the bumper nicely: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=802269 I will probably pull the trigger on the Dimisa 3.5" tips at the end of this month. So my question is, do any of you guys know of any decent 3.5" tips here in the UK that I should consider? Cheers, Steve |

I've been put off by a number of manufacturers as they like to stamp their name on the exhaust tips which I feel is a little chav for my liking.. |

Interesting
How much would you roughly pay for these to buy and weld on? Cyba/di misa do make great stuff but its hardly worth the hassle shipping them and duty etc.. I've decided I don't need a bastuck/vrsf exhaust and will make do with what I have!

The Demisa tips I was looking at are $99 for two. They quoted me $47 for shipping to the UK.
Total cost would be around £100 (give or take) to get them to London. However, that's is without any additional charges by the clowns at customs. Once they are in the country I would need to find a reputable welder and I suppose I would be paying around £50-£60 for someone to fit them. I guess I should budget £150 for the tips + welding. Does that sound about right? |

I agree...but I notice that the Cyba threads on this forum for tips, scoops etc are "no longer active" - so maybe he's no longer in business..?

It isn't cheap flogging stuff on here, that's why so many try it on,some more successfully than others I might have an email address for him,Derek's been around for quite awhile, and certainly longer than his sponsorship on the forum. I'll see if I can find it,and if anyone wants it let me know.

The place that came out the cheapest were these people - http://www.longlife.co.uk/products/tails/ and to be honest I don't want to pay much more than £120.

I've just ordered the scoops and his email address is sales@dvisionwerks.com
He had a good product so would be surprised if he was no longer trading. I'll also be quite annoyed as I have my eye on his tips at some point! As for welding, from what I've seen £50 to £90 would be fair. |
